The memory foam pad
Three inches of memory foam, not an air mattress. It arrives rolled and needs 72 hours to expand. The cover comes off and washes. Straps and a storage bag are in the box. We describe the memory foam pad (item B0BXPF92LT) as “Waterproof, anti-slip, and temperature-regulating”. That is our own wording, as it stood on 25 August 2026.
Fit is the one count against it, 13 good against 15 bad, and the complaint is width on narrow cots and truck beds. Measure before you choose a size.
The washable rug
Low pile by design, with a non-slip backing, machine washable and safe for a robot vacuum. It ships folded and creased. We describe the washable rug (item B0G2ZDCGSH) as “New rugs for living room may arrive with temporary crease due to folding packaging… lightly steam with an iron (under 390°F)”. One discrepancy worth knowing before you order: the product page title says “Black” while buyers describe a beige. Check the swatch on the variant you pick.

- Anyone who wants cordless or outdoor heat: these are mains-powered with a 12.5–14.3 ft cord.

Will it switch itself off overnight?
Yes. The twin shuts off after 8 hours, the flannel-and-sherpa throw offers 1, 2, 4, 6 and 8, the faux fur 2, 4, 6 and 8. One throw is described two ways, ten hours in one place and eight in another, so plan for eight and check the controller that arrives.
How hot does it actually get?
86–113 °F on the twin, 86–122 °F on the throws. That is comfort warmth for a sofa or a bed, not a heating pad, and we make no medical claim for it.
Can it go in the washing machine?
Yes, with the controller cord detached first, on a gentle cycle, air-dried or dried on low heat. Do not plug it back in until it is completely dry.
How long is the cord, and will it reach the sofa?
14.3 ft on the twin and 12.5 ft on the throws. One throw comes as 144 or 201 inches depending on the version. Measure from the socket, not from the edge of the blanket.
Will the twin cover a bed for two people?
It is 62″ × 84″ with a separate controller for each side, and buyers say it covers a bed and still works on the sofa. Appearance is our strongest count anywhere in the range, 485 mentions.
Does it break after a month?
On three of the four blankets the durability count runs negative: 221 good against 292 bad on the twin, 111 against 124, 29 against 50, 13 against 36. Test yours in the first month, while the return window is open.
Why do some spots feel cooler than others?
Heat spread runs 427 good against 183 bad on the twin and 91 against 57 on the faux fur. Warmth is not perfectly even across a panel, and the split is the honest number, and it is printed above.
Is it safe near children, pets or an older relative?
The controls are deliberately simple: one button, a timer, and a controller for each side of the twin. We do not promise unattended use, and nothing here is a medical device.
Is the camping pad an air mattress?
No. It is 3 inches of memory foam that needs 72 hours to expand after unrolling, with a removable washable cover, straps and a storage bag. Measure your cot or truck bed first: fit runs 13 good against 15 bad.
Can an 8×10 rug really go in a home machine?
Washability is the rug's cleanest count, 32 good against none bad, but check your drum volume before an 8×10. It arrives folded, the creases go, and light steam under 390 °F helps them go faster.
